Mount Sinai The biblical Mount Sinai is the mountain where, according to biblical tradition, the entire nation of Israel witnessed the revelation of God and Moses received the Ten Commandments from God. The location of the mountain is unclear, but it is sometimes equated with Mount Sinai on the peninsula of the same name. Jewish tradition emphasizes that Moses received both the oral and written teachings (Torah) from God on Mount Sinai. Mount Sinai is regarded as the site of God's mass revelation to the Jewish people,[1] especially the giving of the Ten Commandments, e.g. Exodus 34 LUT

Until the end of 2008, Fedpol was also responsible for state security (Service for Analysis and Prevention) before this function was transferred to the Federal Intelligence Service (FIS) in the Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport. The Federal Office also conducts its own investigations into organized crime, money laundering and corruption under the direction of the Attorney General. Swiss identity documents such as passports and identity cards also fall under its remit. Fedpol is the Swiss Air Force's point of contact for agreements with cantonal police forces in the event of aircraft hijackings, the threat of terrorism from the air and serious violations of air traffic regulations. The Federal Office publishes the annual reports on Switzerland's internal security. The office is based in Bern.

Imbrahim      

Imbrahim Abraham, Arabic Ibrāhīm Considered one of the most important prophets in Islam and the founder of the monotheistic cult at the Kaaba in Mecca. He is mentioned by name a total of 69 times in 25 suras of the Quran, the 14th sura is named after him. The general nickname of Abraham is "friend of God" (Ḫalīl Allāh). It goes back to Sura 4:125, where it says that God took Abraham as his friend. The animal sacrificed in place of Abraham's son is still regarded today as a model for the ritual sacrifice of cattle during the pilgrimage period near Mecca and the annual Islamic Festival of Sacrifice.

Jesus

As the faith document of the early Christians, the New Testament (NT) is also the most important source for historical Jesus research. According to it, Jesus called followers, proclaimed the imminent kingdom of God to the Jews of his time and therefore called his people to repentance. After his death, his followers proclaimed him as Jesus Christ. This gave rise to a new world religion, Christianity. Jesus also became important outside of Christianity.

Muhammad

Muhammad was both the leader of the religious and social movement and the ruler of the area of power in which this religion was practiced. The caliphs who followed him extended Arab rule over Persia, Syria, Palestine and Egypt.

Church

A church or church building is a sacred building used by one or more Christian denominations for worship, prayer and quiet contemplation. Based on the etymological meaning of the ancient Greek word κυριακή [οικία] kyriakḗ [oikía], German 'dem Herrn gehörend [es Haus]', churches are considered houses of God. Churches are also sometimes used for community meetings, cultural events (e.g. concerts), lectures and other ecclesiastical, cultural and social activities.

Moses        

Moses, Moussa Mose(s) (Arabic Mūsā) Is considered an important prophet in Islam and is the person most frequently mentioned by name in the Koran. In the Islamic exegetical tradition, he plays an important role above all as the leader of the Israelites, as the recipient of the Torah and as the harbinger and forerunner of the Prophet Muhammad. In the collections of traditions, his role during the ascension of Muhammad is also discussed in particular. His honorific title Kalīm Allāh ('the one to whom God speaks') refers to the fact that, unlike other prophets, God did not speak to him through intermediaries but directly. Moses is mentioned a total of 137 times in the Book of Revelation, more often than any other Qur'anic figure. His confrontation with Pharaoh and the magicians is particularly prominent. Allusions to the covenant made on Mount Sinai in connection with the disobedience of the Banī ʾIsrāʾīl are also frequent. The episode of Moses and the "servant of God", who acts as a teacher to the prophet, is completely without biblical parallel or intertext. Moses on Mount Sinai The Israelites' wandering in the desert is only of marginal interest in the Qur'an; apart from the miracle of water and manna mentioned in Sura 2:57-60, which is mainly performed to show the ingratitude of the children of Israel against God's beneficence, only the meeting of God and Moses on Mount Sinai and the episode with the Golden Calf are described in more detail, but all the more extensively. In the course of his dialog with God, Moses asks to be allowed to see God's face (Sura 7:143). God then asks his prophet to look at the mountain: If he remained unmoved in his place, his request would be granted; but God lets the mountain turn to dust, whereupon Moses falls and faints. When he regains consciousness, he abandons his wish. In Sura 4:164, however, special reference is made to the fact that God "really" and directly spoke to Moses: "and God really spoke to Moses", which sets Moses apart from the other prophetic messengers. The prophet's epithet can also be traced back to this event. (See also Mount Sinai) The confrontation between Moses and Aaron on the one hand and Pharaoh and his sorcerers on the other is one of the most frequently referenced narrative episodes in the Qur'an and is repeatedly taken up as a motif, especially in Sura 7:103-126, Sura 20:59-78 and Sura 26:36-51. Moses gives way to the magicians and is initially impressed and intimidated by their performance, in which they turn their staffs into snakes, but is in turn encouraged by God, who tells him not to worry. In Sura 43:52, Pharaoh expresses his contempt for Moses' difficulties in making himself understood, only to be humiliated himself in the end. Moses' staff is transformed into a snake that devours the other snakes, thus exposing the magic of the Egyptian magicians as a mere illusion. Unlike Pharaoh, whose heart remains hardened, the magicians then prostrate themselves reverently before God and are executed by the vengeful ruler.
The plagues sent against Egypt are only described in passing in Sura 7:133-35; the biblical killing of the first-born is omitted; instead, the remaining six plagues are embedded in a series of "nine signs" (Sura 27:12) that Moses performed through God, alongside the transformation of the staff into a snake, the white shining hand and the parting of the sea. Despite his defeat, however, Pharaoh refuses to release the Israelites from bondage and continues to pursue them, for which he is finally judged in the Red Sea.

Noha        

Noha: According to the biblical story, Noah was chosen by God and warned of a great flood. He was given the task of building an ark to save himself and his family, consisting of eight people, and the land animals from the flood. He was given precise instructions on how to build the ark (Gen 6:14-16). Noach or Noah (more rarely Noé or Noe;Nṓaḥ "rest"; Greek Nôe; Arabic Nuh, DMG Nūḥ) is a mythological figure and, according to the Book of Genesis (1st Book of Moses) in the Bible, is said to have been the tenth forefather after Adam. According to biblical tradition, he was chosen by God to survive the Flood with his family by building the ark because of his faithfulness.

Pilgrimage        

Pilgrimage The Hajj, also spelled Hajj (and Hajjdj), is the Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca. It is the fifth pillar of the five pillars of Islam and takes place annually during the month of Dhu l-Hijjah. The major pilgrimage, the Hajj, can only be performed during certain days of the year (8-12 Dhu l-Hijjah); the minor pilgrimage, called ʿUmra, can be performed at any time. Every free, adult and healthy Muslim - whether male or female - who can afford it is obliged to make the pilgrimage to Mecca once in their lifetime. The pilgrimage is enshrined in the Koran as a religious duty with a certain restriction.
